1dec - 8dec i was away to Cambodia..

before going..

thought it was so easy..

thought that life in the city some may similar with us..

but when i reached there..

what i saw wasn't what i thought..

people there hard to own a car..

on the street only see motorcycle more than car..

their road not as wide as Singapore road..

somehow feel that we are lucky to stay in such a environment..

many people are still not treasure what they had over here..

i think school should bring students to places like Cambodia..

from there really can learn lots of thing..

experience their daily life..

farming isn't so easy as Facebook happyfarm..

is really really very tough..

never know how does it feel until you really do it..

standing under such a hot sun everyday..

the weather is hotter than our weather here..

i don't know how they can endure with such weather without any complain..

and they still can treasure what they had..

and believe it god..

never blame god for giving them such an environment..

why are they so simplicity?

is it because they live in island..

they don't know how outside life look like?

how complicated outside life is..

how i wish i am them..

so simplicity..

no stress..

nothing at all..

Day1

we reached Cambodia at 6 plus (Cambodia time)7 plus(Singapore time)

headed to Town-view Hotel to check in..

and after that we had our dinner near our hotel area.

a rest day for a night..

Day2

0730(Cambodia time) we assemble at hotel lobby..

went to Genocide Museum history of how Cambodian were torture..

beside the Museum..

is a community development project in Cambodia..

is a shop selling all handmade..

after that we headed out for our lunch..

after lunch we proceed to Killing fields ,

a place where a large number of people were killed and buried by the Khmer Rouge regime.

spent there for hours.

and went for dinner.

and back to hotel..

it seems like time at there flies fast..

its true..

Devotion at night after bathing.

Day3

0730(Cambodia time) assemble at hotel lobby..

headed to widow's Island..

spent the whole morning there.

and headed out for lunch..

didn't went back..

we went to Methodist school of Cambodia..

spent whole afternoon over there.

and dinner time..

back to hotel after dinner..

same..

Devotion after bathing..

Day4

0730(Cambodia time) assemble at hotel lobby..

headed to widow's island..

spent the whole day there..

not to be with the kids.

but farming..

lunch time we went out of the island to have our lunch..

went back to widow's island..

and continue our work..

evening we headed back to have our dinner..

and back to hotel..

Devotion after bathing..

this is the time where mood turned..

and we learnt.

Day5

basically is a slacking day for us..

0730(Cambodia time) assemble at hotel lobby..

and we went to Church..

had our morning spent there..

i am sorry that i fall asleep..

as their language i don't understand..

but i know they said that we live for today but not tomorrow..

and don't worry about tomorrow..

end service at 11plus(Cambodia time)

headed place for our lunch..

and went to Russian Market and mall for our SHOPPING !

evening had our dinner..

and back to hotel..

still..

even is a slacking day..

but we had our devotion too !

it our last day spent in widow's island next day..

thats fast...

Day6

0730(Cambodia time) assemble at hotel lobby..

headed to widow's island..

is the same thing happened in Day4..

we headed out of island for our lunch..

and we back to island for our work..

and few hours before we leave that island..

we taught them how to brush teeth..

and gave them bread , tooth brush , toys and sweet for kids..

and after given..

we drag ourselves to leave the cute kids..

Dinner time..

headed back to hotel..

Devotion after bathing..

Day7

went to slums..

wasn't that bad as i thought..

kids there are like widow's island kids.

so simplicity..

a simple game they can play until so happy..

what about Singapore kids?

most of they will say..

(eee... so childish..)

most of them rather spent money to buy cards and buy..

Cambodian kids no cards to play..

dont need anything to let them play..

but just themselves...

simplicity kids...

after slums we didn't went for dinner yet..

we went to Mekong river for sunset cruising..

nice view..

Dinner time..

Buffet Seafood BBQ for dinner..

as it was our last dinner..

have a laughing session dinner..

laughing non-stop for that night dinner..

after dinner headed back to hotel.

no devotion but sharing..

Day8

time flies so fast..

is day 8..

last day..

intend to wake up early to went up for breakfast..

but end up wake up late..

unable to eat the last breakfast..

0715(Cambodia time) assemble at hotel lobby..

check out..

and headed to airport..

and say byee to the driver..

driver's son..

and the translator and also our tour guide..

such a nice funny tour guide..

byee Cambodia...
